Creation triptych
The creation triptych is the last in a series of three triptychs that came about in close collaboration with bishop Martin Lönnebo. This collaboration resulted in a picture where the word and the image are woven together into a Gospel. Martin's painting language and his symbolic words opened up my eyes.
I saw pictures. Martin's words suddenly became my brush. I saw the picture of the "mountain reindeer with the most beautiful view".
In my picture I see how the reindeer stands majestically at the source of life. Rippling water flows by in small mountain streams while the reindeer look out over the mountain landscape embraced by a pulsating northern light. Through all the colors of the northern lights, the star-strewn firmament shines.
So continue our journey on Creation Road.
