Four Faces of Maria

The four faces of Maria the Mother of God - An installation of four icons

Four Faces of Mary shows four different faces or events in the life of the Virgin Mary.

They show human life and how God is with us in everything.

I painted the icons in connection with Bälinge church's reopening in 2010.

Modern classical music is composed for the icons by the composer Andreas Zhibaj.

Livet

Gud, tack för att du omsluter mig på alla sidor och håller mig i din hand och att jag får ge mitt liv som en gåva från dig.

Sorgen

Gud, ge mig kraft att klara av mig vardag och hjälp mig genom de motgångar jag möter.

Tron

Gud, tack för att jag liksom Maria får förtrösta på dig och dina löften.
